Boohr, Pauline (20 OCT 1932)
A very quiet wedding took place at Medford Thursday afternoon when Miss Pauline Boohr of Medford became the bride of Norbert H. Laabs of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.). The ceremony was performed at the Evangelical Community Church with Rev. Jurdane R. Kalwitz officiating. Attendants were Miss Fern Laabs, sister of the groom, and emery Peissig of Curtiss, Wis.
The bride was beautifully attired in a blue chiffon velvet gown with blue velvet slippers to match. She wore a headband and carried a shower bouquet. Miss Laabs wore a wine chiffon velvet gown. The groom and his attendant wore the conventional dark suits.
The bride, who has been making her home near Dorchester for some time as a well liked young lady and the groom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Laabs of Dorchester, is also a well known and liked young man.
The popular young couple will make their future home in the Mrs. A. Gabriel home in the village, while the groom will continue his trucking line, making Dorchester his headquarters. The Clarion joins the many friends of the happy newlyweds in offering congratulations and best wishes for a happy, prosperous journey through life.
